Investing in our mission pays off Big!

Donors who invest in the core mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters by making a pledge over three or more years. Our Society members help us match more children with mentors, support and coach each relationship by a professional case manager, underwrite volunteer enrichment education and training, and sponsor match activities.

Thank you to All of Our Adopt A Match Donors

Your gift will help a child achieve:

 •    Higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships

 •    Avoidance of risky behaviors

 •    Educational success

For those children “Littles” that participate in the program the success rate is significant.

Together we are Defenders of Potential!

Once a match is created your continuous donation will be used to support your match for its duration as follows:

Match support - each match has a match support specialist that follows the match on a regular basis from the first day of the match

Child Safety - is of utmost importance continuous trainings are attended by all direct staff members to insure the child’s safety during their match

Mentor Training and Support - mentors need support as well as each match has its own set of challenges therefore we can provide our mentors with additional training and support as needed

Activities - it is important for the children and the mentors to be able to attend the agencies monthly activities this is a great opportunity for the staff to interact with the child and their mentor to ensure that the match is progressing

Your continued support will help to provide the best possible long term match for the child.  Statistics have proven that the longer the duration of a match the greater the child benefits.

Vision: All youth achieve their full potential.

Mission: Create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Your donation will be used to support our community and school based mentoring programs for children facing adversity throughout Ocean County, helping us to put a mentor into a child’s life and hope into their future. Our mentors are special friends and positive role models that help guide the children and support them throughout their young lives.
