Little Egg Harbor Middle School Program

Volunteers (Bigs) meet for 1 hour each week on Wednesdays anytime between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Meeting time would depend upon the lunch schedule of the child (Little) you are matched with. You may meet in the cafeteria or gym, a classroom, or computer lab, and engage in a variety of activities: recreation, educational games, or simply talking about what's happening. A Big Brothers Big Sisters Coordinator orients Bigs to the school building, introduces them to their Little Brothers or Little Sisters, and establishes a place and activities available for their meetings. The Coordinator supports each relationship for the duration of the school year and remains a resource to celebrate successes and/or solve problems.
